7-8aglodekmaster-1026b
Andrzej Glodek Master 7/8 Cello (B)

Rich and velvety, this 7/8, made by master luthier Andrzej Glodek himself, has a voice like a 100 year old cello. Very colorful with a wide range of personalities, it speaks very easily and is responsive, effortless and natural. Although fresh from the maker, it is already open and sings freely for you. An elegant, nuanced instrument with plenty of projection that belies it's size. Bow handling is excellent with the cello responding well to both pressure and speed, it is articulate and grabs the string well.

Best for advanced students on up to pros, it would excel in anything from chamber work to solo pieces. It would also blend well in orchestra. Each register demonstrates consistent response without compromising its refined, sophisticated voice or technical versatility. Though Glodek is typically renowned for his violas, this instrument still showcases his masterful craftsmanship through its beautifully blended sound. Having worked alongside distinguished colleagues Andrezej Swietlinski and Jan Szlachtowski in the tradition of master luthier Jan Bobek, this cello stands as an ideal partner for advanced conservatory students or professionals seeking a powerful yet refined voice in a smaller cello.

7/8, Crafted in 2025, New

Cello comes with a light-weight carbon hard case.

All cellos are professionally setup and played before shipped, guaranteed.

Set Up:

Evah Gold String Set

Akusticus Tailpiece

Belgium Style bridge

10mm Steel Endpin

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0490/9504/9376/files/NOPHOTOIMAGE_763bfa66-827d-4a90-b987-82638e88598f.gif?v=1793140010
