Gustav Ficker Piatti Strad 1973 4/4 Cello

  • Length of body: 29 7/8"
  • Width of upper bout: 13 3/4"
  • Width of c-bout: 9 1/2"
  • Width of lower bout: 17 1/4"
  • String length: 27 1/2"

Crafted by Gustav August Ficker in 1973, and owned since new by a professional cellist, this is a cooperative, nicely played-in cello. Open and well-balanced; the C is deep and satisfying, matched perfectly with a soloist, yet pleasant, A. Responsive to dynamics, a more advanced student will appreciate how much this cello has been played. Sings out beautifully in upper positions; see the video below for a demonstration.

This cello does not come with a bow or a case. If shipped, you will need to purchase a case. Options can be discussed.

All cellos are set up and adjusted by Linda and are guaranteed to have been played before being shipped!

This is a consignment instrument. Please be sure to read my policies on consignments.
